

Gina DeMuro is a Registered Dietitian, licensed in the state of Alabama, and a Certified Diabetes Educator, with a Masters degree in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama.
Gina has been working professionally in the field of Nutrition/Dietetics since 1995. Her national experience spans from healthcare food service management, clinical hospital, long-term care, and fitness/wellness nutrition counseling to public speaking, community education and corporate consulting.

While enjoying her work in acute healthcare providing Medical Nutrition Therapy, for acute and chronically ill patients, Gina feels most passionate about promoting lifestyle changes to facilitate disease prevention. Engaging the interest of the public in nutrition and wellness and providing exceptional education have been the hallmarks of her career. Gina has the ability to capture audiences, both large and small, with her dynamic, energetic, and thought provoking public speaking programs as well as individual and family counseling.
It also goes without saying that the strong Mediterranean influence of Gina's Italian heritage has lent itself to her passion for great food!

Outside of the field of nutrition, since she was 3 years old, Gina has enjoyed riding, training, and competing with her horses in barrel racing events across the South East.
